Interior design is the process of shaping the experience of interior space, through the manipulation of spatial volume as well as surface treatment. Interior Design draws on aspects of environmental psychology, architecture, product design and furniture design in addition to traditional decoration. An interior designer is a person who is considered an expert in the field of interior design or one who designs interiors as part of their job. In many jurisdictions, interior designers must be licensed to practice.
Interior decoration is the art of decorating a room so that it is attractive, easy to use, and functions well with the existing architecture. The goal of interior decoration is to provide a certain "feel" for the room; it encompasses applying wallpaper, painting walls and other surfaces, choosing furniture and fittings, such as light fixtures, and providing other decorations for the area such as paintings and sculptures.
Interior decorating is done professionally by interior decorators. It is considered a design field.
There is a distinct difference between interior decorating and interior design. Interior decorating is generally focused on finishes, such as wallpaper, paint, window coverings, and furnishings. Interior design involves manipulating the architectural integrity of the interior space as well as the creation of a lifestyle experience through the study of human behavior.
Benefits of Interior Design:
“Protecting the health, safety, and welfare of the people” is an often-used phrase that
identifies some of the knowledge required by all design professions and defines to whom they
are all ultimately responsible—the public. Interior designers make decisions during the design
process that will prevent harm from coming to people in environments in which they conduct
their daily lives. Harm can be prevented by interior designers use of specialized knowledge
when, for example, specifying furnishings and products that are ergonomically sound,
subsequently preventing back or eye strain, thereby protecting people’s health. Harm also is
prevented by planning interior spaces to afford safe exiting and egress that comply with codes,
allowing people to escape during a fire emergency, thus providing for their safety. People’s
welfare is protected by interior designers’ knowledge of what creates well-being for people in
their spaces; comfort, security, privacy, satisfaction, and stimulation are all components of
welfare that are designed into people’s environments.

Commercial Renting Guide for Small Businesses
When you're selecting a property you need to know that your business will be safe there and that it will be able to succeed. So you should check the following points:
1. How much is the rent, when's it due to be paid and what's the deposit?
2. How long is the rent period and what notice is required? Imagine how awful it would be to invest in a shop, win customers just to find you had only signed up for a year.
3. Do you have the right to renew your tenancy should you wish to when the period is up?
4. What are you responsible for and what's the landlord responsible for? Are you allowed to decorate to your taste, can you move things around inside, and so on?
Furnished space
Another idea is to rent fully furnished and staffed offices. This can be a good option if you just want an office and don't need a full-time secretary. You have someone to answer your phone and meet clients at reception. And the leases are usually much more flexible than traditional leases. The downside of serviced space is that it's about 25 per cent more expensive than traditional office rent and therefore isn't a long-term option.
